OXSOLE BOLUS

Oxosle is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic formulation developed by Avosia Vetcare, containing Oxyclozanide 4 g and Levamisole Hydrochloride 2 g, indicated for the effective treatment and control of mixed parasitic infestations in livestock, particularly cattle and sheep.

Pharmacological Action:
Oxyclozanide, a salicylanilide compound, is a flukicide with targeted activity against both mature and immature stages of liver flukes (Fasciola spp.). Levamisole Hydrochloride, an imidazothiazole derivative, acts as a nicotinic receptor agonist, exerting a rapid anthelmintic effect against a wide range of gastrointestinal nematodes such as Haemonchus spp., Ostertagia spp., Trichostrongylus spp., and Cooperia spp.

Indications/Uses:
Oxosle is indicated for use in the treatment and prophylactic control of concurrent liver fluke and gastrointestinal worm infestations. Regular deworming with Oxosle helps improve feed efficiency, promotes better weight gain, and enhances overall animal productivity. It is particularly recommended in endemic areas where fluke and nematode infections are prevalent.
